O-Shot®

Revitalize Your Intimacy: How the O-Shot Can Reignite Your Libido
It’s a common joke that women enjoy sex less and less as they age, but where does this come from? The truth of the matter is that many women of all ages suffer from a wide variety of sexual problems, and until recently, the only solutions offered by modern medicine involved hormone therapy or hiring a therapist. With the O-Shot at Meacham Beauty, we simply use a patient’s own blood to directly treat many of the physical causes behind common female sexual issues. No, it’s not all just in your head, and we can help kick-start your libido again with a simple injection!

Who Could Benefit from the O-Shot®?
Are you among the 30-50% of women who suffer from sexual problems, including:
- Decreased libido (sex drive)?
- Decreased ability to achieve orgasm?
- Painful intercourse from vaginal dryness?
- Chronic vaginal pain from childbirth (e.g., episiotomy scar)?
Or perhaps you have a medical problem that's been inadequately addressed, such as:
- Stress urinary incontinence and urge urinary incontinence
- Lichen sclerosus and lichen planus
- Chronic pain from mesh implants
- Chronic interstitial cystitis?
The O-Shot® could help alleviate these symptoms!
What is the O-Shot® and How Does it Work?
The O-Shot® harnesses the healing power of your blood to stimulate a natural repair of the tissues surrounding the clitoris and the roof of the vagina. Your blood contains red cells, white cells, and platelets. Platelets are very rich in growth factors and healing proteins. By extracting the platelets and concentrating them, we can inject them precisely into the right areas to heal the body and address the problems listed above - naturally!
How is the O-Shot® Performed?
First, a special numbing cream is applied to the region around the clitoris and the target area in the vagina. While the numbing cream is taking effect, we draw some blood, just like having a blood test. While you wait, the blood is processed in our on-site lab to extract and concentrate the platelets, creating PRP. We then use a very precise injection method to deliver the PRP exactly to the right areas. The entire procedure is performed in the office, takes only a few minutes, and the majority of patients report very little pain.
